My 2 1/2 year old son, Omari has been saying the craziest things to me & I never write them into his baby book so I figure that the best place would be here so since he is my life it seemed a perfect place to keep my little memories. So the other night I was upset about something. He said, "Mommy, you sad?" In a very sympathetic voice. "I'll fill you up." Now take that how you want but it sounds like he wanted to fill my heart with joy. He then poofed his magical fingers at me and said, "There you go." He may have been giving me power though too, that is his newest excitement. He grabs an imaginary something from his chest and throws it with forces towards you with a whoosh sound or whatever happens to slip past his little mouth, often along with spit droplets..lol. Then once in awhile he will grab his chest and hand you a little power in your hand, "Here, lil power mommy." Crazy I know its like that everyday. Also Wendy and I (his Godmother) were in the car getting ready to head off for his 1st easter egg hunt(s) & we were chattin about this P90x and she had mentioned getting a pull up bar. From the back seat Omari exclaimed with eyes wide open. " I have pull ups too!" Obviously he was talking about his pull up trainers...lol. That was great, he seemed so happy that he actually fit into the conversation.
